LIGHT OF THE AUGUST MOON Short Stories with a poetic twist from the roaring twenties to the disco seventies. After the First World War, so many changes took place in our society and around the world. It served as a backdrop to the northern migration and upward mobility of African American and laid the foundation of modern lifestyle. Baby boomers enjoy the nostalgia and students enjoy the thrill of learning with spice and humor. History is made every month of the year, but there is something about the month of August where many events in modern history either occurred or culminated during this month; Harlem Riots, 1943, Japanese surrendered in 1945, Emmet Till 1955, The Berlin Wall 1961, The March on Washington 1963, Philadelphia Rio...
