Long, hot costume for the re-enactment of Dred Scott vs Irene Emerson. Recitation of my prose, Paradox, capturing the contradiction of being enslaved in a nation that declared freedom for all, was the introduction. Wonderful play, poignant moments. Proud member of the Drama Ministry of BBC!

Our children were wonderful! They played their parts with pride and determination to be their best. I was the evil step-Mother Madiere adding old school seasoning of the typical course, yet humorous woman trying to make ends meet in 'fabulous' style!
