Recently, I've had the opportunity to bring in my family treasures dating from the late 1800s to the Great Depression to share with others in a recent Collectors Exhibition. These treasures are tangible evidence of struggle and achievement. The glassware are from Atlantic City, 1904 and the Trenton State Fair, 1910. The lantern and hat pin vase from the late 1800s. As I engage in storytelling about the era, my family and many families during that time, I see people inspired to learn about their history to preserve for future generations. Power starts with family.
